Indonesian blogger who exposed the problem of copyright infringement with Facebook, which Ainun Nazieb claimed in one of its demands, Facebook provides a sanction of Rp2 billion.

Nazieb explain some of the points demanded by the parties relating to use up to her blog theme that is similar to Facebook. In a letter filed claims up there are 3 charges levied against Nazieb. One of them demanded a maximum penalty of Rp 2 billion to Nazieb.

"Actually, there is currently no effort to direct the prosecution of the Facebook, but the power law (representation) up the street address at General Sudirman, Jakarta, asked me to overlook because there are indications of violation of copyright," he explained

"In all of the demands that I read there are 3 point charges, two criminal and one civil, in which one claim contains a maximum penalty fine of Rp 2 billion," he said to Legal, Thursday (17/11/2011).

Nazieb claim was not expecting to get a summons by Facebook related keisengannya to create a blog that resemble Facebook in what he calls "Smells Like Facebook", he does not think will get the sanctions of up to Rp2 billion.

Currently Nazieb still consult with legal counsel regarding the issue at hand today. Luckily he has a good boss and helped provide a lawyer to deal with the problem.

This indictment began when Nazieb create a personal blog located at nazieb.com and create a theme blog called 'Smells Like Facebook' is similar to the appearance of the first version of Facebook.

"At first I was bragging to make my blog theme look like Facebook. Until finally there are some friends who asked me to provide it as a theme that can be used by many people because it is considered interesting. I honestly do not intend to seek profit, because at that time I only intend to share it , "said Nazieb, when contacted Legal, Thursday (17/11/2011).

"But now the theme of my blog is already setop for download on my personal blog, but its circulation is not necessarily stop anyway, because it may be shared by others through their blogs," he continued.

Efforts are being made today is Nazeib premises consult legal counsel provided by the company where he works today. To call the Facebook will meet Indonesia on Monday, November 21 or Wednesday, November 23, 2011.

"Right now I still consult on this issue with legal counsel provided by the leadership of my company, then I will come to power law and representative calls up on a Monday or Wednesday next, to find out what exactly they demand," he concluded.



Ainun Nazieb wonder why he just admitted violating copyright by Facebook, even though his blog theme was disetop.

Nazieb is a bit puzzled as to why this new day, precisely at 10:00 am to get a letter about copyright infringement of up to him relating to use a theme that is similar to the look of Facebook.

Though the theme of the blog is already long and now its use has been discontinued by the Nazieb.

"I was surprised, because the use of the theme itself was long and why now at issue," he said to Legal, Thursday (17/11/2011).

"I had to stop its use by giving a note on my personal blog, if the theme could not be used or disetop. But it is not necessarily able to stop, because the user's blog can download it from other blogs that have previously been using the theme," he explained.

Currently Nazieb continue to discuss with his lawyer to face the problem of copyright infringement that has just claimed up this morning. Possible Monday (21/11) or Wednesday (23/11) Nazieb and his attorney will come to (representatives) in the region up to listen to General Sudirman seated problems of social networking giant claimed it as copyright infringement.

"I do not know at this time what action I should do. Maybe after meeting with lawyers (representatives) Facebook Monday or next Wednesday, I just can decide what steps I might live," he said.
