Yahoo Mail hits 100 million users

Yahoo Mail create a history of 100 million users and 500,000 fans facebook. Are you including Yahoo Mail users?. Yahoo also has been kicked off the change layout of some popular e-mail platform.
Now with more than 100 million active e-mail, Yahoo Mail has taken feedback from its users to tweak the interface.

The latest version of Yahoo Mail to users open a few months ago and the company is announcing a new milestone today-100 million active users monthly.

Additional features in the new version of Yahoo Mail includes an integrated notifications and messages from Facebook, Twitter, Zynga and other email service providers in the interface. Yahoo also has made clients more customized with 50 themes, enhanced search and make the client more quickly. In Yahoo Mail, users can also use the IM client from Yahoo, Facebook, and Windows Live.

As one example, the company recently to ensure that the message toolbar appears below the message length, which allows users to more easily delete, move, reply, or forward any message, especially to scroll down the screen visible. Toolbar now appear in different views, including the message list view, folder view, and view messages

Yahoo also has added a feature that lets users gaze jumped between paginated display scrolling and infinite, another option to help when reading long messages.

Hotmail also has moved toward to handle a large number of emails more efficiently. Facility lets you clean sweep mailbox very quickly or category email into folders in minutes.

Threading-related email is a must for those who have large amounts of emails every day. If it had been patented by gmail then I think Yahoo and Hotmail have to pay for it and get right, otherwise they will have difficulty competing.

I like the new setup. It's surprising there are ppl who do not 'like it but oh well. Yahoo may be semi-only reputation "Freemail" vendor.

Filled with complaints of hacking Hotmail, Gmail has privacy implications, and both offer direct support from the company's channels. Yahoo is the only one who did not, even for her freebie account (via e-mail). That does not mean they are without fault.

Yahoo is still lacking in the post-authentication support SSL for webmail. Both Gmail and (now) Hotmail offer.

Yahoo still charge a small fee for many things that people use on Hotmail and Gmail for free, especially forwarding and POP3 access. However, they are doing is implementing IMAP support for the Lions and it works perfectly. (Still waiting for IDLE support, though.) Hotmail does not offer IMAP support for Gmail and implementations are not standardized, and require several peaks-and-tweaking to get working properly.

It is up options that you use the email platform, each platform must have an email trying to be better than others. And trying to offer satisfactory services for customer.
